Richard Schram, M.D.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Schram is a Fellowship Certified sports medicine specialist and Board Certified orthopedic surgeon who is uniquely qualified to treat sports related injuries.
He has completed Fellowship training in Sports Medicine with particular focus on the knee and shoulder, earning additional certification in this field. He has worked with some of the finest athletes including the Houston Texans, the Houston Astros, and the San Antonio Spurs, and has returned professional, collegiate, and high school athletes to competitive levels of performance.
Dr. Schram is Team Physician for the Austin AZTEX Professional Soccer Team. State Champion Lake Travis Cavaliers, and the USTA.
Dr. Schram is an athlete himself. He played collegiate baseball and has competed in marathons, triathlons, and is a USTA 5.0 rated tennis player.
He is also a registered 1st Degree Dan with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation in Seoul, South Korea.
